  3. Designed to perform amazingly fast queries in large groups of text files.
  4. Text files totaling hundreds of Megabytes can be searched almost instantaneously.

  6. Faster than Windows 95's Find tool, 
  7. SEARCH32 creates sets of ancillary index files allowing super fast search queries.
  8. (requires additional disk space, index file size is usually 50 - 60 % of source files) 
  9. Especially useful when performing numerous search queries on the same source files.

  11. Index creation procedure is fast and easy.  Index features include:
  12. * Work with many index files or indexes simultaneously, easily create, update or remove. 
  13. * One index can include up to 32760 origin files.
  14. * Index and search text files in any computer connected through Microsoft local network.

  17. * CASE INSENSITIVE searches
  18. * Search for words up to 32 symbols in length.
  19. * Search precise spelling or a group of words or partial words. Specify word part location, 
  20.    ie. beginning, middle or end.   (Example: bit* [bitmap], *bit* [arbitrary], *bit [inhibit])
  21. * Search word combinations joined by logical operations  AND, OR and NOT.
  22. * Displays both the list of matching files and text strings for each. 
  23. * Double click launches associated applications to view files.
